What to Record Before a Wastewater Process Review

Build a useful data pack with flow records, sampling context and production information.
Start with flow records and a description of production schedules, batch discharges and cleaning activities. Include known chemicals, temperatures and upstream separation stages so that the reviewer understands how the wastewater is generated.
Sampling records should identify the location, timing and method used. Where different production states create different water quality, the data collection plan should account for that variation rather than relying on a single convenient sample.
The completed brief should also describe the intended discharge or reuse destination and practical site constraints. This information helps an engineering team decide what further measurements or trials are needed before selecting a treatment concept.
