Chemical Dosing Skid

Chemical Dosing Skid concept illustration

Overview

A chemical dosing skid provides a coordinated arrangement for delivering a selected reagent to a treatment process. It can support pH adjustment, coagulation or other duties where controlled addition is needed.

System arrangement

The Verdora concept brings metering equipment, isolation valves and local instruments into an accessible assembly. A dosing signal can be based on a reviewed operating setpoint or compatible process measurement.

Typical applications

The skid arrangement is selected for the chemical, required dosing range and installation environment. Materials, seals and pipework must be compatible with the stored reagent and the receiving process.

Planning and service

Engineering should define containment, ventilation where needed, operator access and procedures for changing containers or servicing pumps. Chemical handling and safeguards must be established before the system is put into service.

Key features

  • Controlled reagent delivery
  • Accessible pump arrangement
  • Defined connection interfaces
